1. Steve Neal - Construction
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. K Neal International: Steve Neal, President of K Neal International has asked to be placed on the agenda to discuss his plans for development at 5000 Tuxedo Road.  Steve's current operation is located on this site which is located at Tuxedo Road and Kenilworth Ave.

2. Grant Request – FLBD Grant Request
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
        
Attached is the grant request for consideration.

3. Budget Adjustment – Boyd Park Grant
Decision Required: Approval of adjustment.

Many years ago, the Mayor and Town Council had numerous discussions regarding a Green Street.  A proposal emerged from those discussions to have a stormwater management project along the Boyd Park side of 62nd Avenue.  The staff met with representatives from Prince George’s County and the State and submitted a grant application to the Chesapeake Bay Trust Fund.  Many years later, the grant has been approved in the amount of $121,833.  A budget adjustment in expenditures and revenues is required.

4. Bellamy Tree Removal
Decision Required: Approval for removal.

The Town has obtained a price for removal.  Mr. Torres has provided a memorandum noting that the tree is rotten and should be removed.

5. Raised Crosswalks Tremont and Lockwood
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

The Mayor and Council have discussed this matter at previous Worksession, had the staff provide information regarding design and cost, had the staff look at other alternatives.  

6. Mats for Karate Class
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. The Town Gym has been without mats for over 5 years.  The town has a very successful karate class on Monday's but there are no mats available for their use. The council will consider purchasing gym mats for the general use of the karate class and any other classes that may require their usage.

7. Discussion – Warming Sites
Decision Required: None.
        
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. In preparation for the upcoming winter, the council will discuss what opportunities exist for establishing Warming Centers inside of the town boundaries if we face a major power outage.  Last year a number of individuals and institutions (CUMC. American Legion and St Ambrose) participated in discussions about an emergency center prior to the blizzard.  The council will discuss how to formalize those discussions!

8. Discussion – Vest Camera Updates
Decision Required: Whether to make a budget adjustment.

The Town Administrator will present to the Mayor and Town Council an upgrade to the current vest cameras used by the Cheverly Police Department.  The upgraded cameras will have features to allow for automatic turn-on, automatic download and in car recording while transporting suspects.

9. Potential Land Acquisition
Decision Required:  Whether to authorize the Town Administrator to pursue.

The Town Administrator will present this matter.  This will be in executive session, which is closed to the public.

10. Department Head Evaluations
Decision Required: None.

The Town Administrator will discuss the evaluations of the Chief of Police and the Director of Public Works.  This will be in executive session, which is closed to the public.
